Kelsey Staheli is the Medical Assistant Coordinator and EHR specialist at Southwest Spine and Pain. She is responsible for enhancing patient experience by educating and developing tools for medical assistants to perform at their highest level.
She began working at Southwest Spine and Pain in 2016 as a medical assistant; however, this is not where her healthcare experience began. Originally from Henderson, NV, Kelsey has been a medical assistant for a number of various specialties over the past 16 years, including; orthopedic surgery, podiatry, and general surgery. She has wide range of knowledge in healthcare procedures, medical authorizations, medical necessity, insurance requirements, and the MIPS (Medicare incentive program). She has a vast understanding of Nextgen Office (Electronic Health Record) and works daily to troubleshoot, update, and resolve programming issues clinic-wide for the organization.
She loves learning new things, thrives off of problem solving, and enjoys sharing things she learns with others. Kelsey is a fur mom to 3 fur babies (one being a Great Dane at 180lbs), and is passionate about healthcare and providing quality care for all patients. She enjoys traveling, riding dirt bikes with her husband, lifting weights, and mountain biking.
