Rebecca Garner is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University. Rebecca has years of nursing experience in a variety of areas including oncology, neurology, orthopedics, behavioral health, and wound care. Rebecca was influenced to become a nurse practitioner after a pediatric nurse practitioner provided exceptional care to her daughter during a difficult diagnosis. She personally witnessed the amazing compassion and care a nurse practitioner could provide. In her role as a Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca enjoys helping patients navigate their rheumatic disease diagnosis. She enjoys advocating for patients and helping them receive treatment that can help them live their best life. She speaks English and Spanish. Rebecca is married with three wonderful children. In her spare time, she loves reading a good book. She has a passion for cooking and loves baking artisan breads and trying to replicate dishes from around the world. Her children keep her busy and most weekends they enjoy hiking and exploring as a family.
