Shaun Young, Physician Assistant Certified, joins Southwest Spine and Pain after working in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine for over 25 years.  Shaun initially attended Snow College where he was on the Snow College baseball team. He then received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Athletic Training and received his Master of Science from Western University in Pomona, California in Physician Assistant Studies.  

As a long-time Physician Assistant, Shaun enjoys developing strong relationships with his patients. His goal for all of his patients is to help them return to the activities of life that they enjoy.    

Shaun is currently the Director of Clinical Education for the Utah Valley University Physician Assistant program.    

Shaun is a member of the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.    

When not working, Shaun enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids and being outdoors.  Shaun enjoys working in his yard and all sports.
