A native of Utah, Dr. Bryt Christensen attended the University of Utah School of Medicine where he was granted an international award for his spine research. After completing a surgical internship in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Christensen began a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. During his final year of training at the hospital, Dr. Christensen was elected by his peers and staff to serve as chief resident. His experience working with patients and helping them achieve more functional, pain-free lives inspired him to complete a multidisciplinary pain medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins. This training provided Dr. Christensen with the opportunity to learn the most up-to-date image-guided procedures, anesthesiology, physical medicine, neurology, and psychiatry techniques.
In regards to Southwest Spine and Pain Center, Dr. Christensen brings a unique set of skills to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of all pain-related conditions. He is truly dedicated to helping his patients improve their function and quality of life. Apart from pain medicine, Dr. Christensen enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and three daughters.
